In the 5 years since Kingdom Lost released their first album ‘Desire Lines’, the Salfordian teaming of Nick Bolan and Chris Mather has been firmly tested. From life threatening illness and broken bones to awol musicians and PC’s blown.
This however only inspired their second album, ‘The Crucible of Kingdom Lost’ – a situation of severe trial, in which different elements interact, leading to the creation of something new. Enlisting drummer Jake Ryder, formally of Suzuki Method and The Happy Mondays and vocalist Claire Palmer, the group plan to tour and promote throughout the year of 2018 showcasing their 2nd offering. KL’s style is diverse.
The singles to be released reflect this, ‘LULL’ an alt. floor filler jibing at the message brought by modern pop music, Also, ‘SHUDDER’ (mastered by Stuart Hawkes who has worked with Amy Winehouse, Chase & Status and many more); a dark projection of the Terror Attacks that once again landed on our doorstep…….
