Jimmy Lee Morris Biography
UK singer songwriter doing his own solo acoustic thing, weaving songs about life and love into hearts of those happy to listen. Started writing and performing in the 1980’s, either solo acoustic folk clubs or as front man in the Juno 6 driven band A La Tienne who enjoyed one 12” single through Rough Trade.
Had a brief recording experience with Ron Geesin (producer on Atom Heart Mother). A timely 80’s nuclear protest song. Writing, working, playing through the 90’s, crafting the art so to speak working in bands Mojo Filter and the Collaborators. Released an album “far and distant world” with the Collaborators and spent a lot of time gigging in the UK and Denmark. Met up in 2014 with Simon Scardanelli who produced the 2016 album “Wilderness Wood”. In 2017 eight new tracks were recorded for release on the acoustic and mandolin styled album “Gallery.”
